Walnut Springs Farmstead is owned and opperated by Charlie and Miranda Cowan. Charlie and Miranda are farm kids at heart, literally. He grew up working on and for local farm suppliers and she grew up on a local dairy farm. They have more knowledge of farming combined then most.

Walnut Springs is a small, but growing farm in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Walnut Springs Farmstead wishes to provide you with a local, fresh, all-naturally grown food, including meat, eggs and produce. We do partner with a small handful of other local business that follow our same practices.

Our Values

Even though we are not USDA cerified organic produce, we follow the same practices. We do not use chemical pesticides and herbicides. We use minimal tillage, with mulch and compost to enhance the soil. We are 100% transparent and welcome customers to contact us about a visit to the farmstead.
