
Walnut Springs Produce
We offer the highest quality of produce. Even though we are not certified organic, we follow the same practices. We use minimal tillage, with mulch and compost to enhance the soil. We do not spray our produce with chemical pesticides or herbicides.
We grow both in an open-air garden, along with a high-tunnel to help us extend the growing season.
Every growing season brings its own set of challenges. Growing is not a guarantee. However, below are a list of items that we anticipate growing throughout the season.
May & June
Lettuce Mix, Head Lettuce, Spinach, Beets, Radishes, Turnips, Arugula, Peas, Swiss Chard, Kale, Garlic Scapes, Carrots, Cabbage, Green Onion, Bok Choy, various Herbs, Microgreens, Strawberries & Cherries
July & August
Green Beans, Summer Squash, Tomatoes, Peppers, Hot Peppers, Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Onions, Garlic, Melons, Carrots, Sweet Corn, Eggplant, Radishes, Kale, Beets, Turnips, Cabbage, Bok Choy, Lettuce Mix, Potatoes, Peaches & Blackberries
Micro-Greens: Peas, Broccoli, Spicy Salad Mix, Sunflower, Radishes & Red Acre Cabbage
Herbs: Basil, Rosmary, Thyme, Dill, Chives, Cilantro, Parsley, Sage, Cutting Celery
